This concerto was composed in 2016-17. The three movements are:
- Along the Ancient Line
- Meditations with Bach and Escher
- Chasing the River Sound
Violinist Jun Hong Loh with Orchestra Wellington conducted by Marc Taddei.
The composer says 'I rather like, too, the lines at the end of the poem 'The River in You' by Brian Turner:
...the pull
that draws you back is the river in you
racing to keep time with the river sound'
