After the rush hour, when the sun's out, the wind has dropped and the air is warming; that's the time to take a mid-morning stroll.
RNZ Concert host Bryan Crump took his Zoom recorder for a walk the other day, and happened upon a little bit of suburban magic; the sound of someone doodling at a piano along with the chirping of birds and insects.
Luckily, because it was warm, that person's window was open allowing the sound to reach the street.
