An overwhelming majority of Papua New Guinea MPs have voted James Marape as the country's new prime minister
He won a parliamentary vote held this morning, following the resignation of Peter O'Neill as prime minister yesterday.
Mr Marape defeated the former prime minister Sir Mekere Morauta in the vote.
