Todd Zaner
Todd Zaner is a Kiwi, but was born at a hospital on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
He’s been involved in broadcasting since the 1980s, starting out in the Capital’s student radio station Radio Active and Access Radio Wellington and working for a number of commercial stations including Radio Windy, Radio BOP, Radio Wairarapa, and 2XX, Beach FM and Coast Access Radio on the Kapiti Coast.
Todd has worked for RNZ since 2021, filling a variety of roles utilising his rich radio experience. You’ll hear him hosting or newsreading on RNZ National, and he’s also worked as a scheduler, placing programmes in RNZ’s on air format.
Todd says he enjoys informing, entertaining, and delivering an on-air show which he has developed.
He is also a news and sport junkie, having played cricket to a low level. He passes his time enjoying sport, walking and collecting old radio jingles, and has been known to enjoy trivia and pub quizzes.
