Erny Belle recorded her country and folk-tinged album Venus is Home at her dad’s studio in Maungatūroto, where she lived for two and a half years.
Her real name is Aimee Renata, and she’s now based back in her birthplace of Tāmaki Makaurau, so Tony Stamp visited her to chat about Venus is Home, and suddenly finding herself under the spot-light of the music press.
