1:20 Shapeshifter celebrates 25 years: Drama, anxiety, and "a ridiculous amount of good times”
NZ band Shapeshifter are celebrating 25 years of performing together.
First formed in Christchurch in 1999, Shapeshifter were loved in Aotearoa for their unique blend of heavy Pacific-soul, drum and bass, and electronica.
The band became trailblazers in Aotearoa's electronic music scene and their live performances with a full band propelled them around the world.
An early fan, Charlotte Ryan was lucky enough to sit down with founding members Sam Trevethick and Nick Robinson to reflect on the highs and lows of the band’s career.
