Riki Gooch Pirihi is a conductor, composer, electronic musician, producer, and drummer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington. Riki has had a huge and varied musical career playing with everyone from Fat freddy's drop to Bic Runga but is probably best known for being a founding-member of Trinity Roots.
This year he’s been commissioned to create a mass musical composition for Cubadupa festival and I was lucky to talk to him earlier in the week about the creation process.
