The sound of Melbourne-based Grace Cummings has been described in the Guardian UK as “powerful enough to pound granite into dust” and that voice is at full power in her new album Ramona.
Grace Cummings toured with The Veils last year and has opened for the likes of Weyes Blood, Evan Dano and J Mascis, and brings drama to both her music and the stage.
Grace talks to Charlotte Ryan about some hard experiences behind the songs, and why Bob Dylan’s Ramona helped her to fully express herself.
