Scottish band The Jesus and Mary Chain return to New Zealand this month touring their new album Glasgow Eyes, hailed as some of their best music since their explosive debut Psychocandy.
The band are also celebrating their 40 year anniversary. Charlotte Ryan speaks to founder Jim Reid about the origins of the Mary Chain, their infamous 90s shows and mid-career break up, and what got them back together.
