Police have identified the body of a man found on Sunday morning in Tauranga Harbour.

Emergency services were alerted just before 8am, with the body recovered by Coast Guard shortly after.
Police had asked for the public's help to identify the body and in an update on Sunday night that was complete.
Police had said they were trying to establish the circumstances of the man's death.
