A missing three-year-old in Wellington's Lower Hutt who was the subject of an amber alert, has been found safe.
The child disappeared from Lower Hutt at 9am on Thursday and police said the amber alert was resolved shortly after 11am.
A search in the area had been underway, until the child was found safe.
