A new measles case has been reported in Auckland, with the person spending hours at Auckland Hospital while they were infectious.
Health NZ says the person had recently travelled overseas to an area with a known outbreak.
The case is unrelated to a previous outbreak in Northland and a single case in Queenstown last month.
The person was at Auckland City Hospital's emergency department for nearly 10 hours from 10.30am on Friday.
Health NZ has asked anyone else who was there at the same time to check they have been vaccinated, and to watch for symptoms.
But it said there was a low risk of spread to the community.
