Since being in the job, Taurua has constantly pushed her squad to get better, with some of her World Cup selections hinging on it.
That need for faster, stronger and fitter proved instrumental for the Silver Ferns, who walked away from yesterday's World Cup final in Liverpool as champions with a 52-51 win over arch rivals Australia.
