Polls have begun closing in the US election.
It may be some time before the final result is known but initial results are coming in.
Earlier there were queues, hoax bomb threats - believed to be from Russian sources - at polling stations, a ballot-scanning glitch in one county, and forecast storm for part of th country.
Opinion polls show the candidates running neck and neck in each of the seven states likely to determine the winner. In those key states polls close by 4pm; Pennsylvania (2pm), Wisconsin (3pm), Michigan (2pm), Georgia (1pm), North Carolina (1.30pm), Arizona (3pm), and Nevada (4pm).
