Head coach Filoi Eneliko knows her team has not had enough tournaments to compete in as they build up for the World Sevens Challenger Series next weekend.

Samoa women's rugby team captain Masuisuimatama'ali'i Tauasa-Pauaraisa says "things need to be better for the next generation" of women players in the country.

Samoa have been drawn with World No.1 and hosts England, Australia, and the USA in pool A. While Fiji have been grouped with Canada, Scotland, and Wales in pool B.

Manusina Samoa beat Madagascar 46-15 in the WXV 3 to finish second overall in the competition and secure their spot at next year's World Cup in England.

Manusina were unrecognisable from the side that drew with the Netherlands last weekend as they secured an impressive 45-17 victory against Fiji at The Sevens Stadium on Saturday.

Manusina Samoa turn their focus to the upcoming WXVs competition in Dubai after they defeated Australia A 20-17 on Apia Park, on Monday evening.
